What to wear to an engagement session [Southern Ontario Wedding Photographer][C&E Collective]

Engagement season is upon us and with that comes the challenge of picking the right photographer and booking your engagement session!  These sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day as well as a chance to capture your time as an engaged couple.

Once you’ve chosen your photographer and booked your session, the next step is to choose a location. Your engagement photos can take place absolutely anywhere, a favourite hang out spot, your first date location, a trail the two of you frequent often….the options are truly endless.

After you’ve chosen the location (or locations), it’s time to start planning the logistics…aka what you’re going to wear.  For many couples, this can be the most difficult decision of the whole shoot.  You want to look put together but still comfortable, compliment each other without looking matchy-matchy and most importantly, look completely yourselves.

Luckily for you, C&E Collective has put together 30 different outfits for 10 different locations to answer the most common question; WHAT DO I WEAR?!

1.Local Diner/Ice Cream Parlour

2.Historic Hotel

3.The Beach

4.Mountains

5.Trail

6.Urban

7.Riverside

8.Old town

9.Field/Barn/Farm

10.Garden

And there you have it! I hope this gives you a jump off point to put together your own outfits for your engagement shoot 🙂
